Fine Art Prints Celebrating America’s Courts and Basketball Culture

For over 15 years I’ve been photographing basketball hoops across America - weathered backboards in empty lots, handmade rims in alleyways, and lonely hoops standing tall in quiet fields. These aren’t just relics of the game; they’re symbols of resilience, creativity, and the love of basketball that lives far beyond the bright lights and sneaker deals of the worlds most famous arenas.

This collection of fine art basketball prints honors the soul of the sport, those homemade backyard courts and street setups where people played simply because they had to. From our countries biggest cities to towns so small they don’t even show up on a map, these photographs celebrate the game’s place in everyday American life.

Each image is available as a museum-quality, limited edition print, ideal for collectors, designers, or anyone who sees basketball as a form of self-expression and culture, not just a sport. These prints bring a raw, honest piece of basketball history into your home, office, or commercial space.

I’m honored to still be working on this project after so much time and proud to see it exhibited in fine art galleries and museums, featured on NBA TV, ESPN, Sports, Illustrated, SLAM Magazine, and included in historic fine art books including Courtside Candy (Germany), and When Basketball Inspires (France).

Custom framing and digital mock-ups are available.

Utah Basketball Photography Print

Black and White Wall Art

You’d have to imagine that this basketball hoop in Utah is now retired, but I like to think of old relics like this as story tellers. And from the look of it, this one would have a lot to say. Hopefully all of those who’ve helped to cause it’s happy demise still pass by and are warmed by the countless memories this hoop allowed them to create.

Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints are hand signed/numbered on museum quality archival fine art Hahnemuhle Baryta paper. In my opinion there is no better medium to print and display fine art photographs on. Its surface is smooth with a subtle texture, and a slightly warm base that produces very pleasing B&W prints reminiscent of platinum prints and meets the highest industry standards regarding density, color gamut, color graduation, and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
